SPECTROL Disinfectant Cleaner (3.8L)

SPECTROL is a broad-spectrum disinfectant that has demonstrated its efficacy against viruses, bacteria, and molds (see product label). Despite the absence of specific data on the new Coronavirus, Health Canada considers that this product, given that it is licensed as a broad-spectrum virucide for hard surfaces, would inactivate the new coronavirus 2019 (SARS-CoV-2), the virus that causes COVID-19. It contains 5% of alkyl dimethyl ethylbenzyl ammonium chloride and 5% of benzalkonium chloride, which are active ingredients recognized for their effectiveness against various viruses. Its performance has been validated according to methods recommended by Health Canada to assess viricidal effectiveness against surrogate viruses belonging to groups of viruses known to be even more robust than the Coronaviruses. These tests confirmed that SPECTROL ready to use is effective with a contact time of at least 10 minutes on previously cleaned inanimate hard surfaces.
