This 12-inch aluminum oxide grinding wheel is designed with an exceedingly strong and sharp monocrystalline abrasive grain, making it ideal for medium to heavy stock removal applications. The vitrified bond provides exceptional durability and versatility, especially for toolroom, cylindrical, and surface grinding. With a grit number of 60 and a maximum RPM of 2,070, this wheel is engineered for cool, fast cutting with minimal dressing required. It is particularly suited for grinding tough tool steels, including vanadium alloy steels, with moderate to heavy feed rates. The wheel features excellent form holding for precision and consistent performance.
