The Merit Surface Prep A/O medium grit TR (Type III) non-woven quick-change disc is designed with aluminum oxide abrasive grain, offering up to a 20 percent higher cut rate than competing products. Its medium grit surface is perfect for blending and finishing metals, as well as non-ferrous materials such as carbon steels, aluminum, and composites. The proprietary Clean Bond resin technology ensures smear-free finishes while minimizing loading on softer materials. With high-loft nylon fiber construction and a durable nylon scrim backing, this disc provides exceptional durability and lasting stiffness, making it an excellent choice for heavy-duty applications.
